Oaksterdam University Executive Chancellor Dale Sky Jones is a frequent go-to expert for news media on cannabis reform. She speaks as a keynote and on panels at industry conferences across the globe as one of the first female cannabis industry leaders in the world. Based in Oakland, Calif., Dale is regularly interviewed by notable media outlets such as Politico, Al Jazeera, BBC, CBS Evening News, CNN, Discovery Channel, Fox News, History Channel, MSNBC, NPR, Telemundo Univision, Los Angeles Times, VICE, Wall Street Journal and many other news outlets. Dale rose to the international spotlight as a spokesperson and legislative liaison for California's first legalization effort, Prop 19, which ignited international debate in 2010. Since then, she has educated thousands of students, regulators, and legislators. She is focused on civil rights issues, working on cannabis policy reform as the path towards social justice. Dale became President & CEO of the world's first cannabis college in 2012, after a crippling federal raid. Dale's leadership through the crisis ensured Oaksterdam's 25-year legacy of cannabis education, social justice, and policy reform.
